Leaf wetness sensor is an electronic device consisting of a sensitive element in the form of a plant leaf; an electronic scheme; a communication cable with a controller and a bracket made of stainless steel which helps to attach the sensor in the foliage at different tilt angle. Physical contact with leaves is not necessary.
The sensitive element is covered with anti-corrosion material allowing to protect from aggressive environment.
The sensor should be set near the plants opened for rain and dew interaction.
The sensor measures leaf wetness within 20 levels: 0 - completely dry, 20 - completely wet.
The sensor   ­­sets water presence on leaf surface at a definite time interval. This parameter is necessary
for calculating plant infection probability and for further control as well as for optimization of
agrotechnical measures on the field.
